Softer Than Cotton
This wool isn’t like your typical itchy sweater. We only use superfine (21.5 micron) Merino wool, resulting in a luxuriously silky soft feel that’s lighter and more plush than your average Merino or cotton. And unlike most clothes, it'll also maintain its form over time and won’t get ruined after a wash.
Regulates Body Temperature
Whether you’re landing in Seoul or Santiago, the natural fibres of Merino wool are excellent when it comes to regulating your body temperature. The breathable material retains warmth, but not to the point of overheating, providing optimal comfort in any condition.
Cozy Softness
Modern spinning technology has made Merino wool the softest, most luxurious of all wool types. Perfect against your skin, the fibers will never itch or irritate, outclassing any and all synthetic fibres.
EASY CARE
You won’t have to wash this item much at all. However, when it comes time for a refresh, simply add it to your load on a cold, gentle setting, then lay flat to dry.

I hesitated to order this, thinking that I really didn't need another sweatshirt, or sweater, for that matter. However, this is honestly in a category of its own. The fabric is a mid-weight, "spongy" merino wool and it folds down very small, making it great to put in my carry-on or tote bag. I also really like the cut. I sized up to a Medium to get the extra arm length and I could've worn my usual Small. However, I decided to stick with the Medium so that I can wear a layer underneath it and still feel comfortable. I would love to see this in Navy or Charcoal Grey.

Great sweatshirt! Has a spongy feel to it, which is rather satisfying. Smooth exterior with a terry like interior. Very comfy. I sized up to a medium because I wanted it to be oversized. Could have probably gone with a large, but if you like your sweatshirts more fitted I'd say stick to your normal size. I haven't yet vetted how warm it will keep me, but I'm going to bring this with me on a month long trip, and I'm hoping it will keep me warm on long flights. I have worn it outside in Austin heat and found it to be very breathable but after a while I had to take it off, which is expected. Overall I'm really happy with it. The only con I'd say is that it attracts cat hair and fuzz but again it's black so it kind of comes with the territory.

I love the elegance and ease of the boxy sweatshirt for wearing with leggings on the plane or layering with a button up and my UM wide leg trousers for dinner. The bone colour is a gorgeous neutral that is a slightly blue shade of grey. I bought this piece along with a handful of UM tees for an upcoming trip to South Africa and can't wait to travel with it. All of my test wears have been heaven!

This was my first Merino Boxy Sweatshirt, though I have several other UM products. I really liked the drape and weave of this fabric, and like that I can wear it alone or with a Boxy Pocket Tee underneath (their lengths would work well together). Dark Teal is a beautiful color. That said, I wish it were about an inch longer in the torso -- when I raise my arms the hem goes above my pants waistline. I ordered a size larger than my usual size in this style, and am happy I did.
