Nature's Miracle Fabric

Nature's Miracle Fabric

Merino wool fibers allow it to wick moisture away from your skin, which ensures comfort and moisture management. Merino wool’s complex structure locks odor molecules within the fiber and only releases them on washing.

Softer than cotton

Softer than cotton

This wool isn’t like your typical itchy sweater. We only use superfine (18.0 micron) Merino wool, resulting in a luxuriously silky soft shirt that’s lighter and much softer than the average Merino or cotton shirt. It’ll also maintain its form over time and not get ruined after a wash, like most clothes these days.

Easy care

Easy care

You won’t have to wash this shirt much at all. However, when it comes time for a refresh, simply add it to your load at the normal or cool temperature setting and then lay flat to dry.

    Love it with caveats

I have a closet full of UBM that I love and this style of jacket is great for travel. My problem is that the fabric blend is just too much plastic for comfort. Gorgeous to look at but this much synthetic will make it too hot in the summer and not warm enough in the winter, not to mention feeling too slick. If it was 90-100% merino, I would get 3. Maybe next year?

    nice look, not great fit

I ordered a S (5'3" petite frame 128 lb) and jacket was too tight across the back, couldn't move arms freely, but sleeves way too long. Wide across the middle, lots of side room under armpits, a Med would likely be too bulky. It's a nice looking jacket, but a bit too heavy for what I wanted, was looking for a light easily packable travel jacket, and this is solidly constructed, kind of heavy, probably suitable for chili weather.

    Elegant, Versatile and Practical Jacket

I am very happy with this versatile and practical jacket. As I expect from Unbound Merino, the materials and construction are excellent. I am 5’ 1” with 40” bust, size L is a good fit, permits a tee and a hoodie to be worn comfortably underneath while giving me an elegant sleek look. I used the garment measurement to choose the size. I can see it will be great for travel as well as a frequent choice for daily wear. However, I tried it in bitterly cold weather and it is not the best choice for below zero. The pockets are welcome but the security pocket would be far more useful if it could hold a phone.

Well made; dislike cut and style

The jacket appears to be well made but the cut and style aren’t for me. I normally wear between a size small and a medium and sometimes size up for a slightly roomier fit. (I’m 5’4”, 123 lbs.) This medium jacket was very boxy; the shoulder seams drooped, but if I’d bought a size small the sleeves would have been too short. (This makes it hard to rate the sizing for purposes of this review.) The tucks/pleats at the back made the jacket balloon out in a very unflattering way. I have had this issue with all other items I’ve bought from this brand except the hoodies — unflattering cuts, sleeves (or legs) too short (or too tapered). Had to return it.
