    THE Perfect Basic

    This skirt is gorgeous, versatile, and very flattering. It's the type of timeless piece that will always be in style; and I love that I can wear it casually with a tank top, or dress it up for a nice dinner out. It's also true to size. I'm 5'7, with a 29" waist and 38" hips, and the medium fits perfectly well.

    Worth the Wait

    I waited about 8 months for the Merino Maxi Skirt to restock. I already had the red one and wanted the black as well for travel. They both look great! Very happy!

    Finally!

    I was hoping to get this skirt. As soon as Unbound Merino sent me an email that it was back in stock, I immediately ordered it! It meets and surpasses my expectations ... the fabric and weight are both fantastic; I love that it has no pockets (as side pockets always disturb the line, IMHO), has a wide, comfortable waist band, and it is LONG! I'm a tall senior woman who prefers wearing skirts but likes them a couple of inches below my knee as both "knee length" and "right below knee" dresses and skirts are invariably too short for me. Further, a straight skirt can be "dressed up," as it were, which ups its utilization. The back slit is rather high, granted, and so I'll stitch it to make it a little less revealing. :) I like to travel but travel very lightly (one small carry on and a purse or small backpack), so weight and versatility of garments (wool, of course), are important. I tried this skirt on over black wool leggings and black wool bike (?) shorts, and both worked well, and it looked very polished with UM's cream wool button down shirt. I have several items from Unbound Merino and very much appreciate not just their high quality and always excellent customer service but they offer some pieces are a bit more formal/traditional. (I won't wear leggings and a t-shirt outside my house.)

    LoveTthis Skirt!

    I really love this skirt - the color, the fabric, the fit, the length - everything about it! It is such an easy piece to slip on a make an entire outfit around. I have worn it with a t-shirt and sandals, with a cardigan and dressier blouse and everything in between! Now, I just want it in more colors!!

    This skirt is so useful when travelling

    Very comfortable and easy to wear

    Easy to layer over leggings when the weather is really cold and equally looks great with just a T-shirt in warm weather

    Very light and easy to pack have ordered a second one
