Nature's Miracle Fabric

Nature's Miracle Fabric

Every Merino wool fiber has a waxy coating called Lanolin, which helps wick moisture away from your body, and act as a safeguard against odor-causing bacteria. This is what allows our Merino wool to stay breathable and dry while smelling and feeling fresh, no matter what you put it through.

Softer Than Cotton

Softer Than Cotton

This wool isn’t like your typical itchy sweater. We only use superfine (21.0 micron) Merino wool, resulting in a luxuriously silky soft feel that’s lighter and more plush than your average Merino or cotton. And unlike most clothes, it'll also maintain its form over time and won’t get ruined after a wash.

Easy care

Easy care

Your overcoat rarely needs a wash. However, when it comes time for a refresh, simply dry-clean it at your convenience.

    Not For Me

Generally, I order Unbound Merino (UM) shirts in Large and they fit well. The coat in large was way too large and floppy. For now, I decided not to exchange for a Medium because I have misgivings about the design. The inside has four zipper pockets; but they, and the whole inner finish, look and feel a bit tacky; not at all the elegance I had hoped for at this price point . On the outside, just behind each hand pocket there is a large vertical vent which, if you put your hands in the pocket or turn a certain way, opens up and exposes what you are wearing both to view and to rain. I've never seen this on a coat. I was so excited to receive this coat in time for a trip to Italy and am so disappointed that, besides the size, I disliked it so much.

    Excellent spring coat

Well made and warm enough for the spring temperatures.

    Not bad but…

I think I’m the wrong demographic for this jacket. The cut—not the sizing—feels way off for me. It’s just this big, floppy, droopy tent of a jacket. Maybe that’s what’s considered trendy right now? If you want a very loose fitting jacket, it probably hits the mark. But not for me.

    Classic style

A somewhat disappointing version of the classic men’s overcoat. Less than pleasant feel & fabric.

Seems serviceable, utilitarian, and reliable. But just not the best match for me and the climate.
